Stylish and Versatile – Alloy’s Jet Boot

jet-boot-blackjet-boot-chestnutjet-boot-chocolate

I give these boots 5 stars. The low heel of the Jet Boot is enough to lift the leg to look extra good in those jeans, while providing the stability and comfort of a flat or tennis shoe. I own both the black and chestnut color in an 8, and I have to force myself not to wear these boots every single day. The chestnut is a surprisingly rich and versatile color, easy to wear, and of course the black goes with everything. I recommend adding a foot insert, like Dr. Scholl’s, to increase the comfort of the shoe if you walk a lot, like I do to all of my classes on campus. The Jet Boots combine the best of style and comfort!

I did have a sidewalk misstep in my chestnut boots and the small heel came off, but the customer service staff at Alloy is great (the best service is by phone, not e-mail), and I’m exchanging them soon for another pair.

These are my favorite shoes by far! These boots are available in three beautiful colors, black, chestnut, and chocolate, and are currently priced at $34.50, on sale from the original $46.50.

Get these boots while they’re still available, in the Best of Winter footwear section at www.alloy.com.

    Hi!
I’m thinking about buying a pair of these boots, and I’m glad I found your review of them. I was wondering, do they fit true to size? Also, about where do they hit? I was hoping for mid calf, but they look kind of short.
And, do you happen to have a picture of you wearing them?

    Thanks so much!

    Hey Amy,

If you have two sizes you’re considering, pick the larger one. I can wear an 8 or 8.5, so I’d pick an 8.5. The black leather is a more flexible material, but the chestnut has a harder toe so you definitely need a larger size. They hit a little below mid-calf but above the ankle, so they might not be as tall as you hope for but are still really cute.

I’ll take and post a picture me wearing them tomorrow to give you a good idea.
