Urban Outfitter’s Owl Rug

A Bold Statement Piece

Owl Rug

Urban Outfitters makes a wide variety of rugs ranging from small and cheap to large and better quality. For a fast way to change your home’s style, I recommend the unique rugs from UO. This beautiful owl rug rests in my room and a friend owns the black and white Doile rug. The rugs are an inexpensive way to add color and pattern, ranging in price from $9-19.99 for the “small” size.

I must mention that while the colors are at first vibrant, these rugs don’t hold up to a lot of wear and tear; we keep ours at our doorway as an entrymat, which has faded the colors. The colors tend to bleed when spot-washed. Colors aren’t the only problem, our rug has a permanent crease that arrived with the product and simply won’t iron out marring the otherwise delightful design.

In essence, with the Urban Outfitter rugs you get what you pay for; a lot of style for a low price, but unfortunately not lasting quality. For a trendy item, however, these rugs are great as beautiful, bold statement pieces. You can find Urban Outfitter’s latest rug offerings here.
