Demure Lace, Strong Shoulder

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Instead of wearing the same old pink-and-red that everyone else will be wearing, why not make a statement in romantic black lace? Here are two beautiful options from Modcloth and Lulu’s.

Keys to making these strong pieces work:

  • Keep the rest of your look classy and understated
  • Minimal jewelry will keep the focus on the lace
  • Pants, dress, or skirt all work with the lace jacket
  • Either colored or black heels and a little clutch complete the outfit

I believe Zara had some beautiful black, lace dresses. I'm not sure if they still do, but I swoon every time I see black lace. God knows I want to find some lace tights.

I agree, I'm looking for the perfect pair (or pairs) of lace tights. That can be one of our missions this Saturday!
